Prairie Sunrise is a contemplative piece written in a style which pays homage to the great American composer, Aaron Copeland. It begins with a single note melody pitched in the key of E Major and this melody is gradually developed. Sections follow harmonized in thirds and also in fourths. Play it freely and with sensitivity. This solo is from my new solo collection, Guitar Airs and Ballads (MB22039).
